I got to use my cement shaping skills once more! I was explaining the work to a friend and told him how the IMI guy pours it, but my job is to finesse it! Boss John was full of compliments on my work, but he was still very reluctant to let me finish the job on my own when he had to leave site for a meeting. I was up for the challenge but somewhere between insulted and understanding at his hesitancy. Of all the parts of these homes that I've had a hand in, this one will be visible for a long time. I wanted to do a good job and I had a blast working and waiting and timing it all morning (except for CoJo's demeaning attitude which, contrary to popular belief, does not make my job easier). I may have found my calling...
